On October 28th, The Mission Continues Brooklyn Platoon is heading out to Brownsville Brooklyn once again for an impactful day of service. We are collaborating with our friends at Rebuilding Together NYC to make it all happen. At Langston Hughes basketball court, we're going to weed and fill in cracks in the pavement, paint the court grounds, replace hoops and nets, create additional seating, paint the perimeter wall, sand and paint the perimeter gates, and clear out a fallen tree. On Belmont Avenue, volunteers will install solar powered motion sensor lights on the exterior of storefronts to increase neighborhood safety. Lastly, at Seth Low Houses, we're going to fix up the community center by replacing basketball hoops, painting the game room, clean the gym floor. Outside of Seth Low, we'll build a community garden and repaint fascia. This is going to be a HUGE project and we need all the help we can get. Hope to see you there!
