The YMCA reaches out to help our youth in the community by providing help for functions that involve children and help motivate them and allow them to experience a fun, safe, caring environment. The elementary school (J. D. Davis) is in need of some assistance with providing such an opportunity for the youth with their annual field day. The staff would definitely benefit from the support from serviceman that show a strong presence of authority which many students lack being in a single parent home usually with no male presence. The staff are asking for as many volunteers to help in assisting with activities throughout field day. They would need volunteers with each event. I am seeking Mission Continues help in their presence to help making J. D. Davis Field Day an exciting and memorable event for the youth. If possible, they are seeking as many volunteers you may have available.
