The Manhattan Platoon and Veterans for American Ideals, a non profit that helps SIV Immigrants in America are welcoming and helping move to their new home a Special Immigrant Visa Family! Special Immigrant Visa recipients are individuals and their families that have been employed on or behalf of the U.S. Government between 2003 and 2013 that provided faithful and valuable service with a letter of recommendation from a supervising U.S. official and who are experiencing a serious threat to their lives by working for the U.S. government. These individuals have contributed immensely to our countries safety and prosperity. Their efforts involve providing critical needs to our U.S. Government during trying times and now they need our welcome and help! The Manhattan Platoon will be supporting Veterans for American Ideals by meeting at a variety of locations to collect furniture and home goods for the families new home. Once all the goods are collected we will then re-locate to the families new home and set it up so that they are welcomed with comfortable surroundings and a truly American welcome!!
