Austin Platoon

Event overview

Pena Community Garden at VFW #4443 has been an ongoing project with the Austin platoon since February 2024 and this summer they need our help! We will be clearing flower beds and cardboard mulching them. We will be building a retaining wall and stairs leading to the front garden. Mulching pathways to the gardens. Building rain catchment gutters on two different structures. Come out early for some good ole fashion garden work party!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities.
