Join Us for MLK Legacy of Service in Partnership with Do Good Partners at St. Johns Church

Come together with the Portland Platoon on MLK Legacy of Service on January 20, 2025, at St. John's Church to make a meaningful impact in our community. This is your chance to experience the camaraderie and teamwork from working alongside veterans and community members. Whether you’re a veteran or not, you’ll gain a unique perspective on service as we all unite to give back to under-resourced communities.

Through your efforts, you'll help foster a sense of purpose, connection, and growth among those who have served our country. Report for duty in your community and be part of something bigger. Serve at home and make a difference where it matters most as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy by coming together and creating care packages for the less fortunate in the city of Portland! Please note: This location requires the navigation of stairs; this building is only moderately ADA accessible, with a less-than-ideal ramp. Stooping, grasping and manual dexterity needed to pack bags. We recommend wearing layers and bringing personal comfort items to your shift.
