Join The Mission Continues for another great day of service! This Earth Day, April 22nd, from 0830 yo 1300 at the Tamox Talom Food Forest. To start our day we will have a short informative lesson from a local Archeologist. He will teach everyone about the history of the land we will be tending to, as well as some ways Native Americans would have tended and connected with Mother Earth. There will be several things we will be working on including planting trees as well as edible and medicinal plants, pulling weeds and tending to a greenhouse that needs some TLC. This event will have plenty of work, fun, music, food, and great company to celebrate Earth Day. After our work has concluded we will enjoy lunch, a performance and a blessing of the land conducted by local Native Americans in honor of the the work contributed to the food forest.
