Rincon Criollo Community Garden - Stage 2 - Project Day

For those who were at the prep project two weeks ago, you already know why we're here. For those who are just coming out, let me catch you up: This event, the Bronx Platoon will be creating a new pathway around Rincon Garden to improve on community/greenspaces for the disabled. We want to lessen injuries whenever they come out to the garden for events or just to hang out. So please join us as we play with cement again and try to make things a bit easier for those with limited mobility. For this event, we will be removing dirt and bricks that we have slowly threw around the garden, remove any trash that is needed to be gone, continue our assault on the ground and hopefully be able to cement this time around. How to get there: By Car - Enter Rincon Criollo ~ La Casita de Chema or 749 Brook Ave, Bronx, NY, 10451 By Train - Take the 2 or 5 trains to either Jackson Ave or 3rd Ave/149th Street. Walking to either train stations take the same amount of time. Trains may act up on the weekends so plan accordingly. By Bus - Take the Bx15 or Bx21 bus to 3rd Ave and East 157th Street In the event that it rains, we will have a rain date for Sunday, April 16th, same time!
