Event overview

This event is in coordination with the Community Services Foundation. We will be assisting with putting together this youth activity for about approximately 470 kids. These children will be a mix of different ages and backgrounds. The Spring workout/trials is the kickoff for the Kids Summer Olympics 02 August 19. We need volunteers willing to be assigned a community as a team lead/coordinator. They will be responsible of their teams rotating through activities with the property staff. There are at least 27 communities participating in this event. Utilizing five soccer field size areas. 1st Platoon is really needing volunteers that can assist with children. We need people for set up, coaches, and safeties. There will be five courts with activities on all courts. The venue is inside a climate controlled building, Total Soccer, 8400 Ardwick Ardmore Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20785). This event will require a site visit by the team for better coordination and planning prior to event TBD. Looking for extremely motivated team members having a chance to mentor these amazing children.
