Applying for a Fellowship
Eligibility
All prospective Fellows must meet the following criteria:
- Service in the United States Military after September 11, 2001
- No longer on Active/Guard/Reserve status (IRR/ING status is acceptable) and having attained an honorable discharge
- A minimum of 24 months of time in service, unless serious injury was sustained preventing further service
- A clean criminal record check (individual circumstances may be discussed on a case-by-case basis)
Before beginning the fellowship application process, you should:
- Be ready to commit to 520 hours of service at a community organization in your hometown that is addressing a key issue about which you are passionate
- Identify a potential organization(s) in your community where you could develop your Fellowship
- Learn more about The Mission Continues and our Fellows to see if this is the right fit for you
- Be able to articulate why this Fellowship would be beneficial to your career, education or service goals for the future

Application Process
To begin the fellowship application process, fill out the brief form below. You will receive an email within the next 5 business days with log in access to The Mission Continues Fellowship Application.
Fellowship applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are approved quarterly. Review key application deadlines and fellowship start dates below.
