This fall, The Mission Continues served alongside over 10,000 volunteers at nearly 200 service projects across the nation. Volunteers from The Home Depot Foundation, Target, and Goldman Sachs stood side-by-side with active duty service members, veterans and military family members in service to their communities.

On 9/11, we observed the ten-year anniversary of the attacks by serving as an official co-sponsor for the 9/11 Day of Service. Over the next two months, Team Depot and Mission Continues volunteers united for a single cause: to rehabilitate veterans facilities across the country and improve veterans housing. In October, The Mission Continues partnered with Wounded Warrior Project for community service projects in Washington, D.C., San Antonio and Jacksonville.

On November 5th, The Mission Continues team of Fellows, staff, volunteers and supporters congregated in St. Louis for our Veterans Day Gala. The special evening culminated an incredible weekend of service and training for our Fellows and volunteers at our Annual Summit.

On Veterans Day, we paid tribute to the sacrifices of our service men and women by rebuilding our communities. In partnership with Target and Goldman Sachs Gives, volunteers gathered at 31 service projects to clean and revitalize local schools, and serve meals at food banks.
